Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Sophia Siers hereby declare a state of local civil defence emergency to be in force in the following wards:

  • Heretaunga
  • Kahuranaki
  • Aromoana/Ruahine
  • Ahuriri

The state of local civil defence emergency shall come into force on the time and date of making this declaration.
