Pursuant to section 94B, Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Rodney Dennis Dow, give notice of a local transition period over Ōtorohanga District owing to the February severe weather event.

This transition period:

1. comes into force at 6.00pm on 13 April 2026, which is the time and date when the state of emergency declared at 9.32am on 11 April 2026 for Waikato CDEM Group area is terminated;
2. is in force for 28 days; and
3. ends at 6.00pm on 11 May 2026, unless extended or terminated earlier.

The previous transition period over Ōtorohanga District, notice of which was given at 4.00pm on 24 March 2026, ceases to have effect.
