Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002 I, David Graham Tamakaimoana Moore, terminate the state of local emergency declared at Opotiki at 12.00pm on 11 April 2026 for Opotiki Emergency Operations Centre owing to Cyclone Vaianu.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.
