This corrigendum corrects the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 February 2026, Notice No. 2026-gs1044.

Please replace:

“Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Michael John Pettit terminate the state of local emergency declared at Waipā at 3.00pm on 14 February 2026 and extended until 3.00pm on 28 February 2026 owing to a severe weather event”

With

“Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Michael John Pettit terminate the state of local emergency declared at 3.00pm on 14 February 2026 and extended with effect from 3.00pm on 21 February 2026 for the Waipā District owing to a severe weather event.”
