This corrigendum corrects the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 February 2026, Notice No. 2026-gs1043.

Please replace:

“Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Rodney Dennis Dow terminate the state of local emergency declared at 12.57am on 14 February 2026 and extended until 12.57am on 28 February 2026 for Ōtorohanga District owing to a severe weather event.”

With

“Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Rodney Dennis Dow terminate the state of local emergency declared at 12.57am on 14 February 2026 and extended with effect from 12.57am on 21 February 2026 for the Ōtorohanga District owing to a severe weather event.”
