Notice of Vesting of Property Under Section 324 of the Companies Act 1993—Bare Hill Limited and Other Companies
I, Benjamin Joseph Martell, Manager – Public Law, acting under delegated authority from the Secretary to the Treasury, hereby give notice that on 17 December 2025, I first became aware that the Crown was vested under section 324(1) of the Companies Act 1993, by virtue of the removal of the companies listed below from the Register of Companies, with the rights to New Zealand units, as defined in the Climate Change Response Act 2002.

These New Zealand units will be transferred to a Crown holding account in accordance with section 18D(4) of the Climate Change Response Act 2002. Any person claiming an interest in the New Zealand units relating to a removed company should contact the Legal Team at the Treasury by email to: legal@treasury.govt.nz or by post to the Treasury, PO Box 3724, Wellington 6140.
