An amendment is made to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 February 2026, Notice No. 2026-go466. This is required under 212M of the Education and Training Act.

The following wording is added:

“Te Ao Māori education in Te Wairoa, grounded in a Tūhono framework that interweaves whakapapa, whenua, and Te Awa Tipua, where learning is place based and predominantly delivered through outdoor contexts with a Kaupapa Māori ethos.”
