Appointment of Compulsory Care Co-ordinators by the Director-General of Health Under the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003

1. Pursuant to section 140 of the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003, I, Audrey Sonerson, Director-General of Health, appoint:

  1. for the Northern region, being the geographical area including Auckland and Northland:
    1. Serita Lau’ese-Blaney;
    2. Derf dela Rama;
  2. for the Midland region, being the geographical area including Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, and Tairāwhiti:
    1. Michelle Cameron;
  3. for the Central region, being the geographical area including the lower North Island:
    1. Gregory Sayer;
  4. for the Southern region, being the geographical area including the South Island:
    1. Sean Berrill;
    2. Lynette Stenning;
  5. for the Northern, Midland, Central, and Southern regions:
    1. Elisabeth (Lizette) Huitema;
    2. Raymond Williamson;

as Compulsory Care Co-ordinators, with the powers and responsibilities set out in the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003, for the regions specified.

2. The term of this appointment is from the date of signature until 5 March 2027, or until such sooner time as this appointment is revoked by me or my delegate.
