Under clauses 9(3)(b)(ii) and 9(4)(b)(ii) of the Land Transport (Clean Vehicle Standard) Regulations 2022 (“Regulations”), the Minister of Transport publishes the following.

1. Arithmetic Mean Weight

Under section 9(3)(b)(ii) of the Regulations, the arithmetic mean weight for the 2027 and 2028 obligation years under the Regulations is:

1. 1,549kg for Type A vehicles
2. 2,174kg for Type B vehicles

2. Slope of the Limit Line

Under section 9(4)(b)(ii) of the Regulations, the arithmetic mean weight for the 2027 and 2028 obligation years under the Regulations is:

1. 0.0374 for Type A vehicles
2. 0.0486 for Type B vehicles

3. Clean Vehicle Standard Review

The Government’s decisions on the future of the Clean Vehicle Standard may affect the relevance of the data. Publication of this notice does not imply that the Standard will continue to apply in 2027 and 2028.
