Pursuant to clause 1(1) of Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I appoint

Heather Madge Simpson

as Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Antarctic Institute Board, as established under the New Zealand Antarctic Institute Act 1996, for a term commencing on 1 April 2026 and ending on 25 February 2027.
