Building Product Specifications for Use in Complying With Acceptable Solutions or Verification Methods

Pursuant to sections 25C(1) of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice that a notice titled ‘Notice of Amendment of Building Product Specifications First Edition’ was made on 2 April 2026 under section 25B(3) by the General Manager, Building System Performance under delegated authority of the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

The Notice of Amendment of Building Product Specifications First Edition and the amended building product specifications, being the Building Product Specifications First Edition Amendment 1, are published on the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) website: www.building.govt.nz/building-code-compliance.
