Notice of Amending Building Product Specifications for use in Complying with Acceptable Solutions or Verification Methods and Associated Materials Incorporated by Reference
Pursuant to sections 25C(1) of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice that a notice titled ‘Notice of Amendment of Building Product Specifications First Edition’ was made on 2 April 2026 under section 25B(3) by the General Manager, Building System Performance under delegated authority of the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
The Notice of Amendment of Building Product Specifications First Edition and the amended building product specifications, being the Building Product Specifications First Edition Amendment 1, are published on the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) website: www.building.govt.nz/building-code-compliance.
Pursuant to sections 405(1)(a) and 410(1)(e) of the Act, I give notice that the following materials are incorporated by reference into the Building Product Specifications First Edition Amendment 1, which was first issued on 28 July 2025 and was amended on 2 April 2026:

Pursuant to section 406(c)(ii) of the Act, I give notice that the amendment on 2 April 2026 to the Building Product Specifications, First Edition, 28 July 2025 incorporated by reference in the below listed acceptable solutions and verification methods is adopted in relation to those acceptable solutions and verification methods.
Pursuant to sections 405(1)(b) and 410(1)(e) of the Act, I give notice that the Building Product Specifications First edition, Amendment 1, 2 April 2026 is incorporated by reference into the below listed acceptable solutions and verification methods.
