Under section 52P of the Commerce Act 1986 (“Act”) the Commerce Commission gives notice that it has amended the Electricity Distribution Information Disclosure Determination 2012 [2012] NZCC 22 to raise the threshold for disclosure requirements applying to related party transactions.

The amendments are set out in the Electricity Distribution Information Disclosure (Related Party Transaction Threshold) Amendment Determination 2026.

The amendment determination comes into effect on 20 February 2026.
