New Zealand Food Standard 1996, Amendment No. 16 Section 11G of the Food Act 1981 Amendment No. 16 to the New Zealand Food Standard 1996 was issued by the Minister of Health on 12 November 1999. Amendment No. 16 incorporates changes made by Amendment No. 46 to the Australian Food Standards Code (ASFC) into the New Zealand Food Standard 1996. Amendment No. 46 was gazetted in Australia on 1 November 1999 and published in the New Zealand Gazette by the Australia New Zealand Food Authority on 4 November 1999. The New Zealand Food Standard 1996 and the material incorporated into it by reference, i.e. the AFSC up to and including Amendment No. 46, is available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington.
