New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard notices"> New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999, Amendment No. 2 Section 11l of the Food Act 1981 Amendment No. 2 to the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999 (``the Standard'') was issued by the Minister of Health on 10 September 1999. Amendment No. 2 updates the provisions for maximum residue limits of agricultural compounds contained within the Standard. Amendment No. 2 reinstates the maximum residue limit for milk fat for the agricultural compound Moxidectin, which was inadvertently removed from the Standard by Amendment No. 1. Compliance with the provisions of the Amendment is mandatory. Copies of the Standard and Amendment No. 2 to the Standard are available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington, or can be purchased from any Bennetts Government Bookshop. Amendment No. 2 to the Standard will come into force on the 28th day after the date of this notification.
