The Fisheries (Cardinalfish Commercial Catch Limit) Notice 1999 (No. F120) Pursuant to section 11 (4) (a) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control hereby makes the following notice: N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (a) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Cardinalfish Commercial Catch Limit) Notice 1999. (b) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette. 2. Interpretation In this notice: (a) CDL is defined as cardinalfish with the species name Epigonus telescopus. (b) Area 1 means all that area defined as Fishery Management Area 1 Auckland (East) in Part 1 of the First Schedule of the Fisheries Act 1996; (c) Area 9 means all that area defined as Fishery Management Area 9 Auckland (West) in Part 1 of the First Schedule of the Fisheries Act 1996; 3. Commercial catch limit As from the date this notice comes into effect, the following commercial catch limits for CDL apply until 30 September 1999: Area Tonnes 1 1 200 9 4 Dated at Wellington this 17th day of May 1999.
