New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999 Section 11g of the Food Act 1981 The New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999 (``the standard'') was issued by the Minister of Health on 6 April 1999. The standard replaces the provisions for maximum residue limits of agricultural compounds that are currently provided for under regulation 257 of the Food Regulations 1984. Compliance with the provisions of the standard is mandatory. The standard is available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington. Copies of the standard are available for purchase from any Bennetts Government Bookshop. The standard will come into force on the 28th day after the date of this notification.
