Declaring New Sections of State Highway and Renumbering State Highway State Highways No. 1, No. 1A and No. 17: Silverdale Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that, the sections of road described in the First Schedule hereto, are declared to be State Highway and the section of State Highway No. 1 described in the Second Schedule hereto, is declared to be State Highway No. 17 within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989. First Schedule 1. State Highway No. 1 to include the newly constructed section of road in Rodney District and North Shore City commencing at a point (new Reference Station 296) on existing State Highway No. 1 at the northern side of the new Silverdale Interchange Bridge and extending in a generally southerly direction to a point (new Route Position 296/14.23) on existing State Highway No. 1 on the southern side of the Greville Road Interchange, including the newly constructed motorway ramps and connections to and from State Highways No. 1 and No. 17 and the newly constructed ramps to and from Oteha Valley Road and Greville Road; a distance of 14.23 kilometres. 2. State Highway No. 1A to consist of that section of road in Rodney District commencing at a point (new Reference Station 0) on the newly constructed section of State Highway No. 1 at the northern side of the new Silverdale Interchange Bridge and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 4.25 kilometres to the site of the proposed Orewa Interchange and then in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 1.45 kilometres to a point (new Reference Station 6) at Maire Road, including the new motorway ramps and connections to and from State Highways No. 1 and No. 17, Maire Road and Grand Drive. Second Schedule 3. State Highway No. 17 to consist of the existing section of State Highway No. 1 in Rodney District and North Shore City commencing at a point (new Reference Station 16) on the south-western side of the new Silverdale Interchange and extending in a generally southerly direction through Dairy Flat and Albany to a point (new Reference Station 33) on the western side of the new Greville Road Interchange; a distance of 17.53 kilometres.
