The Traffic (Queenstown Lakes District) Notice 1999 Pursuant to sections 52 (1) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Queenstown Lakes District) Notice 1999. (2) The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1985* is revoked. Schedule SITUATED within Queenstown Lakes District at Glenorchy: All roads within an area bounded by a line commencing at the eastern end of Coll Street, and proceeding south-westerly generally by a right line to a point on the eastern side of Oban Street, 480 metres measured southerly generally along Oban Street from Coll Street; thence across Oban Street at right angles to its eastern side and along the prolongation of that line to the eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence north-westerly generally along that lake shore to a point due west of the northern end of Oban Street; thence due east by a right line to the northern end of Oban Street; thence south-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the northern side of Mull Street, 130 metres measured easterly generally along Mull Street from Oban Street; thence across Mull Street at right angles to its northern side; thence easterly generally by a right line to the commencing point.
