Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board (the board), having been directed by the board, and in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice of the following registered electrical workers having been disciplined by the board under Part XI of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decision or order of the board: Lewis David Brough of Hastings, was fined $350 and ordered to pay costs of $200. The fine and costs to be paid by 22 September 1998. Graham Blair Campbell of Auckland, had his name removed from the Register for a period of 5 years and was ordered to deliver his electrician registration certificate to the Registrar within 10 days of receiving the notice of removal. He was also ordered to pay costs of $250. Brian James Cox of Greymouth, had his electrician registration suspended for 6 months and was ordered to pay costs of $250. The suspension remains in force. Lance Dixon of Lower Hutt, was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay costs of $750. The fine and costs to be paid by 28 October 1998. Andrew Robert Ellen of Kaiapoi, had his electrician registration suspended until such time as he passed an electricians level electrical regulations examination and was ordered to pay costs of $200. The suspension remains in force. Michael Leon King of Timaru, had his line mechanic registration suspended for 3 months from 4 February 1998 and was fined $500 and ordered to pay costs of $800. The fine and costs to be paid by 27 March 1998. Kevin Wayne Merrick of Warkworth, had his electrician registration suspended until such time as he passed the electricians level electrical wiring regulations examination and was ordered to pay costs of $450. The suspension remains in force. David Roy Mills of Napier had his electrician registration suspended from 4 February 1998 until such time as he passed the electricians level regulations examination. He was also fined $2,000 and ordered to pay costs of $800. The fine and costs to be paid by 27 March 1998. The suspension remains in force. Brian O'Connell of Auckland, was sent a letter of censure dated 5 September 1997 and was ordered to pay costs of $250. The costs to be paid by 3 October 1997. Paul O'Reilly of Lower Hutt, was sent a letter of censure dated 17 February 1998 and was ordered to pay costs of $400. The costs to be paid by 27 March 1998. Kenneth Frank Snook of Christchurch, had his electrician registration suspended until such time as he passed the electricians level electrical wiring regulations examination and was ordered to pay costs of $250. The suspension remains in force. Paul Thomas Stiles of Masterton, was fined $1,250 and ordered to pay costs of $750. The fine and costs to be paid by 28 October 1998. Trevor Gordon Wade of Auckland, was fined $500 and ordered to pay costs of $350. The fine and costs to be paid by 3 October 1997. Carl James Ward of Christchurch, was fined $500 and ordered to pay costs of $400. The fine and costs to be paid by 20 June 1997.
