Meat Board Levy Pursuant to section 61 of the Meat Board Act 1997, notice is given that the New Zealand Meat Board hereby fixes the rates of levy to be paid on all livestock slaughtered in licensed premises (other than licensed premises in the Chatham Islands) as follows: Category of Livestock Rate of Levy (G.S.T. Exclusive) Lambs $0.40 per animal Sheep and Goats $0.40 per animal Adult Cattle and Vealers $3.60 per animal Bobby Calves $0.20 per animal These rates of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of the 1st day of October 1998.
