Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Firstly, pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of that part of the land described in the Schedule hereto to which section 62 of the Act does not apply, hereby jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and secondly, pursuant to section 7 (1a) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the part of the land in the Schedule hereto to which section 62 of the Act applies is held for conservation purposes; and the whole area shall hereto be so held: Schedule Otago Land District Central Otago District 3.4779 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 23857 situated within the Town of Bendigo. 93.6366 hectares, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, S.O. 23858, situated within the Town of Bendigo and Block II, Wakefield Survey District.
