Order for Striking Off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors In the High Court of New Zealand, Wellington Registry M. 165/97 In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, and in the matter of James Speedy, barrister and solicitor of Papakura: Pursuant to section 117 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on the 11th day of November 1996, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows: 1. That the name of James Speedy be struck off the roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand. 2. That the practitioner pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $1,844.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by that society. 3. That the practitioner pay to the Auckland District Law Society the sum of $25,126.88 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by that society. 4.
