The Commodity Levies (Winemaking Grapes) Order 1992 In accordance with the above order all growers and buyers of grapes are advised: 1. A levy is payable on all grapes grown and sold for the production of wine or grape juice. 2. At the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Grape Growers Council in Gisborne on 29 August 1997, it was resolved that the levy for the 1998 vintage remain at 0.75% + G.S.T. of the gross value of the farm-gate price of grapes sold.
