Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session Order in Respect of Lincoln Andrew Jackson, Registered Comprehensive Nurse In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (a), 42 (2) (a), 42 (3), 42 (9) and 48a of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (``the council'') in a decision dated 9 May 1997, ordered that the name of Lincoln Andrew Jackson be removed from the Register of Comprehensive Nurses. It declined to fix a time after which he may apply to have his name restored to the register. The council also ordered that he pay $3,000.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council and that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand and The Dominion newspaper.
