Application for Approval of a Scheme In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of The Royston Hospital Trust Scheme: Take notice that on Friday, the 8th day of August 1997 at 9.30 a.m., the trustees of the Royston Hospital Trust will apply to the High Court at Napier for orders approving a scheme varying the provisions of the Royston Hospital Trust. The trustees seek to vary the provisions of the trust to facilitate the carrying out of the objects of the trust by: 1. Broadening the criteria for appointment of trustees. 2. Broadening the objects and powers to reflect the trust's ownership of shares in Royston Hospital Limited. 3. Removing the requirement to set aside a losses reserve fund. 4. Making the powers of investments consistent with the Trustee Act 1956. 5. Protecting the charitable status of the trust. A copy of the proposed scheme, originating application and supporting affidavit may be inspected at the offices of Dent Robertson & Partners, Chartered Accountants, 301 Queen Street East, Hastings (Attention: S. G. Signal). Any person desiring to oppose the scheme should give a written notice of his or her intention to do so to: 1. The Registrar of the High Court at Napier; and 2. Her Majesty's Attorney-General, care of the Crown Law Office, 45 Pipitea Street (P.O. Box 5012), Thorndon, Wellington (Attention: M. A. Soper); and 3. The trustees of the Royston Hospital Trust, care of Dent Robertson & Partners, Chartered Accountants, P.O. Box 46, Hastings (Attention: S. G. Signal).
