Bylaw Regulating Speed of Vehicles on State Highway No. 16 at Kumeu and Huapai Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw. B y l a w 1. Title and commencement This bylaw may be cited as the Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1997/16. 2. This bylaw shall come into force 28 days following its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. Interpretation In this bylaw ``Motor vehicle'' has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962. 4. No person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 60 kilometres an hour on that part of State Highway No. 16 at Kumeu and Huapai, commencing at a point (at Route Position 19/7.46) 50 metres southeast of Old Railway Road and extending in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of 3.1 kilometres to a point (at Route Position 19/10.56) 75 metres northwest of Trigg Road.
