Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of the State Highway No. 16 Within Waitakere City Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw. B y l a w 1. Title and commencement This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1997/15. 2. This bylaw shall come into force 28 days following its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. Interpretation In this bylaw ``Motor vehicle'' has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962. 4. No person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour on that part of the State Highway No. 16 within Waitakere City, commencing at a point (at Route Position 19/0.20) 200 metres west of the motorway terminus at Hobsonville Road and proceeding in a generally northerly direction for a distance of 4.26 kilometres to a point (at Route Position 19/4.46) at Brighams Creek Culvert.
