The Traffic (New Plymouth District) Notice 1997 Pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads and Rail, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (New Plymouth District) Notice 1997. (2) Those localities and roads appearing on the plans numbered: LT9732/1 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)'', LT9732/2 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions-Details New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)'', LT9732/3 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Okato'', LT9732/4 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Oakura'', LT9732/5 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Inglewood'', LT9732/6 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Waitara'', LT9732/7 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Urenui'' and LT9732/8 of 8, entitled ``Speed Restrictions Egmont Village Lepperton & Tongaporutu'' and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be: (a) closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962; or (b) 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as indicated by markings in accordance with the legend on those plans.
