The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice 1997 Pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice 1997. (2) The localities specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. (4) That part of The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice No. 1, 1991* which relates to the roads in the First Schedule below is revoked. First Schedule SITUATED within Tasman District at Mapua Higgs Road. Jessie Street. Viewland Place. Second Schedule SITUATED within Tasman District at Hope Ranzau Road West: from No. 6 State Highway (BlenheimInvercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Pugh Road.
