Notification of Approval of Totalisator Betting Dollar Deductions as From 1 August 1997 Pursuant to the Racing Act 1971 and its subsequent amendments on 15 December 1995, the New Zealand Racing Industry Board on 30th April 1997 resolved to approve the Totalisator Betting Dollar Deductions as set out below, with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, the 1st day of August 1997. These deduction rates do not apply to sports betting and fixed odds race betting.
