The Traffic (Waikato District) Notice 1997 Pursuant to sections 52 (2) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato District) Notice 1997. (2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the following plans numbered: (a) TT9718/1, entitled ``Waikato District Council Speed Restrictions at Horsham Downs, Matangi, near Raglan, near Tamahere, Scotsman Valley, Tamahere, Te Kowhai''; and (b) TT9718/2, entitled ``Waikato District Council Speed Restrictions at Huntly, Ngaruawahia, near Raglan, Rotokauri, Te Mata''; and (c) TT9718/3, entitled ``Waikato District Council Speed Restrictions at Horotiu, Raglan, Rotowaro, Taupiri, Te Rapa Dairy Factory, Whatawhata''; held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962, or 70 kilometres per hour speed limit areas or limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, or are excluded from the limitations to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962, as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
