The Traffic (Far North District) Notice 1997 Pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice 1997. (2) The locality specified in the First Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. (4) The Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1982* is revoked. First Schedule SITUATED within Far North District at Okiato: With the exception of the road in the Second Schedule below, all that area bounded by a line commencing on the shoreline of Pipiroa Bay adjacent to the northern termination of Pipiroa Road thence due east a distance of 400 metres, thence due south to the shore of the Waikare Inlet, thence westerly, northerly and easterly generally along said shoreline to the commencing point. Second Schedule SITUATED within Far North District at Okiato: Aucks Road: from its western termination to a point 100 metres measured easterly generally from Deeming Road.
