The Wellington City Council Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road 1. Please take notice that under section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, The Wellington City Council (``the council'') proposes to take under the Public Works Act 1981 that interest in the land as described in the Schedule (``the land''). 2. The land is required for road. The council intends to use the land for road. 3. The owners of the land and those persons with a registered and unregistered interest in it have been served with notice of the intention of the council to take the land and have the right to object to that. 4. Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunals Division, Department for Courts, P.O. Box 5027, Wellington on or before the 9th day of April 1996. 5. If you make an objection: (a) You will be advised of the time and place of the hearing; and (b) You will have the right to appear and be heard personally or to be represented by a barrister and solicitor or any other person you authorise. 6.
