Termination of Subsidy Investigation: Sweetened Condensed Milk From Thailand Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, I have terminated a subsidy investigation in respect of sweetened condensed milk exported from Thailand (hereinafter referred to as ``the subject goods'', as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 30 June 1995, and the New Zealand Gazette, 6 July 1995, page 1784). Because I am satisfied, under section 11 (1) (c) of that Act that, as a result of investigations carried out, the imposition of a countervailing duty in respect of the subject goods would be inconsistent with New Zealand's obligations as a party to the WTO Agreement, I have followed my statutory obligation to terminate the investigation. Dated at Wellington this 19th day of December 1995. PHILIP BURDON, Minister of Commerce. A copy of the non-confidential version of the Termination Report which contains details of the investigation and the conclusions reached, is available from the Manager, Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
