The Commodity Levies (Pipfruit) Order 1996 The Levy Rate for the period ended 31 October 1996 is 1.5 cents per tray carton equivalent (tce) of pipfruit, plus G.S.T. A tce equals 18.8 kg of fruit. There is a minimum levy payable of $150.00 plus G.S.T. and a maximum levy payable of $2,000.00 plus G.S.T. The levy is calculated on a grower's total production of pipfruit produced in the 199495 season (1 November 1994 to 31 October 1995). The levy is payable by growers who produced 1000 tces or more of apples and/or European Pears in the 199495 season. Invoices will be sent to pipfruit growers shortly for this commodity levy.
