Revoking Section of State Highway State Highway No. 2 and Declaring New Section of State Highway State Highway No. 1, Wellington Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, The Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 2 described in the First Schedule hereto, is revoked and the section of State highway described in the Second Schedule hereto, is declared to be State Highway No. 1 within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989. First Schedule State Highway No. 2 at Wellington commencing at its junction with State Highway No. 1 at Ngauranga, thence along all lanes of the Wellington Urban Motorway, through The Terrace Tunnel, to its southern end at Willis Street and its southern commencement at the intersection of Vivian and Willis Streets. Second Schedule At Wellington on the Wellington Urban Motorway, north bound and south bound, commencing at the Aotea on and off ramps on the Thorndon Overbridge and proceeding in a southerly direction through The Terrace Tunnel and dividing: Southbound: Via the off ramp to Willis Street, then east along the full length of Ghuznee Street, then south along Taranaki Street to Vivian Street, then east along Vivian Street to Kent Terrace and south along Kent Terrace to its end at the Basin Reserve. Northbound: From the intersection of Buckle and Sussex Streets, west along Buckle Street to Taranaki Street, then north along Taranaki Street to Vivian Street, and west along Vivian Street to Willis Street joining the north bound on ramp to The Terrace Tunnel.
