Revocation of the Appointment of the Banks Peninsula District Council to Control and Manage Reserves, and Vesting of the Reserves in the Banks Peninsula District Council Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the appointment of The Banks Peninsula District Council to control and manage the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, and further, pursuant to sections 25 (1) and 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vests control of the said reserves in The Banks Peninsula District Council in trust for historic reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act and further, subject to the right of the Regional Conservator to exclusively occupy at his discretion the two offices in the former Akaroa Court House and further to occupy the interior of the balance of the former Court House from time to time upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Regional Conservator and the District Manager, Banks Peninsula District Council. Schedule Canterbury Land District Banks Peninsula District Akaroa Court House Historic Reserve 1051 square metres, being Rural Section 41440 (formerly part Reserve 83), part Deeds C3383 (18D/247) S.O. 13420.
