Approval of Brake Testing Instrument Pursuant to regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, John Andrew Justice, Manager Compliance, hereby approve, for the purposes of regulation 68 (5) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the brake testing instrument of the make and type described in Schedule 1 of this notice, subject to the conditions of approval set out in Schedule 2 of this notice. Schedule 1 Make and Type of Instrument MAHA Platform Brake Tester Model Junior-Check 2P, manufactured by MHB Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co of Germany. Schedule 2 Conditions of Approval (1) The supplier shall provide a calibration and repair service that is readily available to the users of this brake testing instrument. (2) Access to the brake test instrument is to be provided as required, for any person so authorised by the Director of Land Transport Safety, for the purpose of checking the accuracy of the brake testing instrument.
