The New Zealand Stock Exchange Rules 1993 CATHERINE A. TIZARD, Governor-General At Wellington this 18th day of April 1995 Present: The Hon. John Luxton Presiding in Council Pursuant to section 7 (3) of the Sharebrokers Amendment Act 1981, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves the following amendments to the New Zealand Stock Exchange Rules 1993. Rule 6 Rule 6 (5) (b) is amended to read as follows: ``Shareholders' funds of the company, less advances or loans to related parties (other than transactions for securities trading and settlements) are at least equal to $1 million''. Rule 23 Rule 23 (5) is amended to read as follows: ``Every sharebroking firm shall pay such annual contribution and such additional levy as may from time to time be fixed by the Board provided that the total amount of all contributions and additional levies paid by all sharebroking firms in any one year shall not, in aggregate, exceed the sum of $1 million and the Board may differentiate between sharebroking firms in setting the amount of any levy payable. No person shall be entitled to a refund of any contributions or additional levies paid into the Fund.'' MARIE SHROFF, Clerk of the Executive Council.
