Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Conducted Outside New Zealand Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Warren Cooper, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Harlequin Mills and Boon, Australia, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme to promote the sales of Silhouette books. Schedule Conditions The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely: (1) Harlequin Mills and Boon shall not conduct the lottery within New Zealand after 21 September 1995. (2) The results of the lottery shall be published in the New Truth on 2 October 1995. (3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any disadvantage as a result of winning a prize. All freight, customs, handling and delivery charges and any insurance costs to cover theft or damage to prizes coming from outside New Zealand will be met by Harlequin and Boon, Australia. If a New Zealander wins the major prize all air fares from New Zealand to Daydream Island will be paid by Harlequin and Boon Pty Ltd, Australia. (4) A New Zealand participant shall have a chance of winning which is equivalent to that of an overseas participant. Dated at Wellington this 27th day of March 1995.
