Notice of Intention to Assign Place Names Pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice is hereby given of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the names stated in the first column of the Schedule below to the respective places described in the second column of the said Schedule. Objection to any such proposed name may be given in writing, setting out the grounds for objection, to the Secretary of the Board, care of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Private Box 170, Wellington, within a period of 3 months from the date of the New Zealand Gazette containing this notice. Nelson Land District Mueller Tarn Infomap 260 M31 GR 548 710 a tarn north of Mariua Springs and approximately 3 km east from Mount Mueller. Canterbury Land District Apricot Flat Infomap 260 H37 GR 565 934 a river flat north of the junction of Elcho Stream and the Hopkins River. Back Bush Stream Infomap 260 H37 GR 725 015 a tributary of Bush Stream with headwaters near Mount Dark. Boltons Gully Stream Infomap 260 H37 GR 863 826 a stream whose source is near Landslip Creek and closest to Mary Burn. Scotts Slip Infomap 260 H37 GR 763 957 a large slip on the northern side of Twin Stream. Slip Stream Infomap 260 H37 GR 795 966 a tributary of the Tasman River approximately 1km north of Glentanner Station. Tasman Lake Infomap 260 H36 GR 628 193 a large melt lake at the base of the Tasman Glacier. Thar Creek Infomap 260 H37 GR 552 898 a tributary approximately 21/2km long, on the west side of the Hopkins River.
