Notice of Intention to Take Land for Carpark in Stoke in the City of Nelson Notice is hereby given that The Nelson City Council proposes to take under the Public Works Act 1981, the land described in the Schedule to this notice. The land is required for car park and it is intended to use the land for extending the adjoining Stoke Car Park. The council considers the taking of the land reasonably necessary for the following reasons: (a) The taking is necessary to achieve the objectives of the council to complete the Stoke Car Park. (b) The land sought to be taken is designated in the council's Transitional District Plan for Proposed Car Park. Every person having an estate or interest in the land intended to be taken may object to the taking of the land by sending a written objection to The Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, within 20 working days after the publication of this notice. Schedule Nelson Land District 89 square metres of land situated at the rear of premises at 526 Main Road, Stoke, occupied by Summit Real Estate. Legal Description 89 square metres, being part Lot 3, Deposited Plan 5290 and being part of the land in certificate of title 2B/650. The land referred to in the Schedule is shown on a plan prepared by Staig & Smith, marked 3922 and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson.
