Notice of Standards Set Under Regulation 90 (9) Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of December 1994, and acting pursuant to regulation 90 (9) of the Electricity Regulations 1993 (the Regulations), the Secretary of Commerce set the standards listed in the Schedule to this notice, in respect of the declared articles described in the Eighth Schedule to the Regulations and listed alongside those standards. In order to take advantage of the automatic New Zealand approval for such declared articles that have been approved or certified in Australia, as provided for in regulation 90 (9) of the Regulations, any Australian approval or certification must state that the declared article has met the relevant standard, and testing of the declared article to judge its compliance with the relevant standard was carried out at 230 volts a.c.
