Notice of Indemnity Notice of indemnity given pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989 The Queen's Pictures : Old Masters from the Royal Collection Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa. Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement: On the 8th day of September 1994, I, William Francis Birch, Minister of Finance, gave an indemnity pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989 to the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa, in respect of the exhibition, The Queen's Pictures : Old Masters from the Royal Collection, scheduled to be shown at the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa from the 15th day of October 1994 to the 23rd day of January 1995.
