The Sacred Heart College Lower Hutt Board of Trustees by-election Validation Notice Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989 and acting under authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period of 28 days by which the board of trustees must fix the date of election to 85 days. This action is being taken because of the timing of the casual vacancy which means because of the Christmas vacation and recess period following, the board of trustees would have difficulty in holding an election within the time allotted.
