The Traffic (Waitaki District) Notice No. 1, 1994 Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Grant Stewart Milne, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice: N o t i c e This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitaki District) Notice No. 1, 1994. The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. The roads specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. The Traffic (Waitaki County) Notice No. 2, 1970, dated the 16th day of June 1970*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked. First Schedule SITUATED within Waitaki District at Omarama: No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton): from a point 240 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama), to a point 200 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from T A Munro Lane. No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama): from No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) to a point 120 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Black Peak Road. Ahururi Drive. No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama): from a point 120 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Black Peak Road to a point 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Ahururi Drive.
