The Traffic (Central Otago District) Notice No. 1, 1994 Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Grant Stewart Milne, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice: N o t i c e This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Central Otago District) Notice No. 1, 1994. The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. The roads specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. The Traffic (Maniototo County) Notice No. 1, 1983, dated the 24th day of February 1983*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked. First Schedule SITUATED within Central Otago District at Ranfurly: No. 85 State Highway (Palmerston-Alexandra via Ranfurly): from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along Northland Street from Welles Street to the intersection of Stuart Road with Welles Street. Alexander Street: from Charlemont Street West to the eastern end of Alexander Street. Bute Street. Caulfield Street. Charlemont Street East. Charlemont Street West. Davis Avenue.
