New Zealand Fishing Industry Board Marine Biotoxin Levy Pursuant to section 5 of the Fishing Industry Board Amendment Act 1994, notice is hereby given by the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board, with the approval of the Minister of Fisheries, that a special levy of the amount specified below is hereby imposed in relation to the Marine Biotoxin Monitoring Programme and is payable to the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board by every person who on 30 June 1994 was the holder of any lease, licence, permit or special permit, of any of the types specified below in respect of any or all of the species specified below. Specified Types of Lease, Licence, Permit and Special Permit The specified types of lease, licence, permit or special permit are: marine farming lease granted under section 8 of the Marine Farming Act 1971; marine farming licence granted under section 8 of the Marine Farming Act 1971; marine farming licence granted under section 8 of the Marine Farming Act 1971; marine farming permit issued under section 67j of the Fisheries Act 1983, spat catching permit issued under section 67q of the Fisheries Act 1983; fish packing house licence issued under regulation 9 of the Fish (Packing for Export) Regulations 1977; fishing permit issued under section 63 of the Fisheries Act 1983; or special permit issued under section 64 of the Fisheries Act 1983. Specified Species The specified species are: Mytilus edulis aoteanus; Perna canaliculus; Tiostrea lutaria; Crassostrea gigas; Saccostrea glomerata; Pecten novaezelandiae; Chlamys delicatula; Haliotis iris; Haliotis australis; Austrovenus stutchburyi; Paphies australis; Paphies subtriangulata; Panopea zealandica; Panopea smithae; Ovalipes catharus; Evechinus chloroticus. Amount of Special Levy The amount of the special levy is $475.00 plus G.S.T. for each lease, licence, permit or special permit of the specified type issued in respect of any or all of the specified species.
