District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1992 Amendment No.2 Pursuant to section 26r (3) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Central South Island Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1992, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1992. No. 136, pages 29152918. N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1992, Amendment No. 2 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1992 (hereinafter referred to as the ``principal notice''). (2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1994. 2. Interpretation (1) Clause 2 (1) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the word ``Fishing'' and its definition and substituting with the following ``Fishing (a) Means the catching, taking, or harvesting of freshwater fish; and (b) Includes (i) Any other activity that may reasonably be expected to result in the catching, taking, or harvesting of freshwater fish: (ii) Any attempt to catch, take, or harvest freshwater fish: (iii) Any operation in support of, or in preparation for, any activity described in this definition.'' (2) Clause (1) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the word ``taking'' and its definition and substituting with the following ``Taking- in relation to any fish means fishing and 'takes' and 'to take' have a corresponding meaning.'' 3. Closed Season (1) Clause 4 (1) (b) of the principal notice is amended by inserting the following words ``or in tributaries to Lakes Pukaki and Tekapo'' after ``said lakes, tarns, and rivers''. 4. Authorised Tackle (1) Clause 5 (7) of the principal notice is renumbered 5 (7) (a) (2) Clause 5 (7) of the principal notice is amended by adding the following paragraph: ``(b) No licence holder shall continue to fish on any day after having foul hooked three sportsfish, even though any such sportsfish have been returned immediately in accordance with the previous clause 5 (7) (a).'' 5. Authorised Lures and Baits (1) Clause 9 (2) (b) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the word ``Otamatapaio'' and substituting ``Otematapaio''. 6. Daily Bag Limit (1) Clause 10 (1) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the word ``take''. (2) Clause 10 (2) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the word ``take'' and substituting ``kill''. (3) Clause 10 (3) of the principal notice is amended by inserting the words ``or she'' between the words ``he'' and ``has''. (4) Clause 10 (3) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the words ``taken or''. 7. Minimum Size to be Taken (1) Clause 11 (1) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the words ``take or have in his or her possession'' and substituting ``be in possession of''.
