Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 19th day of July 1993, the Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Industry. It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework as follows: Fitness centres; sports administration and coaching, including planning, management, promotion and delivery; planning, management, promotion and delivery of outdoor recreation (excluding tourism promotions); and planning, management, promotion and delivery of community recreation (excluding sports turf management).
